The character arcs were compelling
About three quarters of the movie was brilliant, full of meaning and powerful metaphors, just like the first movie. However, the last part is complete garbage.
This results in a fragmented and out of place segment that leads to an outcome that ultimately leads nowhere
While you can try to draw meaning from the chaotic final episode, the sad truth is that it feels like a forced attempt to meet certain Netflix requirements. Still, I think it was worth watching, at least for the first half, especially if you’re a fan of the first movie.
The early brilliance makes it somewhat of a worthwhile experience, even if it doesn’t end up fully working
