In a mysterious and surreal zone between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Schoolboys Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and try to claim it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads an increasingly distracted group of tourists through Winnipeg’s monuments and historical sites. Matthew leaves his meaningless job at a Quebec government office and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time, and personal identities blur, intertwine, and echo in a surreal comedy of misdirection.
