This film effectively transports the audience along the continuum of time and space, but more significantly, it delves into the psyches of the protagonists, raising profound questions about the significance of moral ethics and the ability to maintain one's integrity in a dystopian world rife with corruption.It is my sincere hope that this film receives the acclaim it rightfully merits, as it stands as a true masterpiece.

This idea was suggested by producer David Brown, who said he’s seen something similar in Skin Deep (1998), a foreign alternative movie starring the actor and singer Gustavo Goulart.. In a few episodes, characters say "OK." ; An American term that didn’t come into use until the 19th Century.. The opening song changes from season to season to reflect what’s happening in the story line.
In the second half of Season 2 (which is mostly about preparing for war), there is a militaristic drum roll added to the opening song. During Season 3, there are tribal drums added because much of the season is set in the West Indies. In Season 4, bluegrass fiddle and banjos are added, plus some of the lyrics are sung with a Southern accent because the season is set mostly in America.

He says: "The Mole Agent" documentary is powerful because it makes people feel something remarkably similar across any age, ethnicity or gender, and I'd describe that feeling in a very reductive way as, "I've got to call my mom." In our show, we tried to do a similar thing with the tone: Basically, does our show contribute to that feeling of making us want to call our moms?.
