Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to make an animated series, which took several years. After the first season premiered, Riot announced that there would be a second season, which would take less time to produce.

I’m a newbie to the source material, but the first 3 episodes of this show blew me away! 🙂 Groundbreaking/beautiful animation, amazing environments, spectacular cinematography, cool music selection, fascinating characters, great voice cast/acting, and some interesting Sci-Fi/Fantasy story!

An adaptation of James Patterson’s novel about the complex and brilliant detective Alex Cross

Hodge is the third actor to play the role of Cross, following Morgan Freeman in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and again in 2001’s Along Came a Spider.

And Tyler Perry as the titular character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which was a box office flop and prompted Lionsgate to scrap a previously planned Double Cross sequel

I’ve read a few of the Alex Cross books and while I thought they were well-written with good stories and characters, I found them a bit too scary for my taste.

But the picture is very dark

Somehow, I found the series more digestible with the same good script and characters.

It’s like the people responsible for the image quality went to lunch

I have to turn off all the lights in my room and switch the TV to bright mode (I have an LG OLED).

If they had fixed that, it would have been great

The cinematography is excellent on the one hand, but in terms of image brightness it surprises me from all the other programs.
